Subliminal Messages
 
Isaiah 44:9 (NLT) How foolish are those who manufacture idols. These prized objects are really worthless. The people who worship idols don’t know this, so they are all put to shame.
 
While walking through a local department store recently, a poster caught my spiritual attention. It was an ad with several models posing for makeup. But the model who was the focal point of the ad was a male whom the world depicts as a savior in pictures of the Last Supper, in movies, and such. He stood out – with his long brown hair and penetrating blue eyes. As a Bible reader and believer – I knew that the person on the poster ad is not our Savior – but what about the new and the young believers who don’t know any better? It benefits us in this fallen world to pay close attention to the subliminal messages that are being commercialized around us. Diversion, confusion, and corruption exists squelch the Word of God. Fortunately, God’s Word has already overcome the world!!! His name is JESUS!
