If Today Were Your Last Chance

Hebrews 9:27 (NLT) And just as each person is destined to die once, and after that comes judgement, ...

Be honest with yourself...
Have you ever made a promise to God while you were deep in a valley, and then you broke that promise after He delivered you out of the valley? Have you ever made God a promise as you stood tall and proud upon a mountain peak moment in your life – and yet – you never got around to keeping your word? Every word that comes to us out of the mouth of God is good – and complete. But what good are our words to Him? I would go as far to say that our words to God reflect the value we place on our relationship with His Son, Jesus. Who and where would we be today if it were not for Jesus? Spend time today thinking about some of the promises you may have made to God but never kept, and ask Him for His forgiveness. If today were your last chance to make good on at least one of those promises – do you love God’s Son enough to carry it through? Let your actions speak louder than your broken promises.
