Do You Know What You’re Doing?

James 1:5 (NLT) If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you.

there will be days in your life when you will stop and wonder what in the world you are doing. You will question whether or not what you do adds value to anyone’s life. It’s quite okay for you to experience this. Take advantage of such times and reevaluate the reason you began doing what you do in the first place. Does its core value include components of Kingdom service? Do you believe in what you do? Is there room for adjustments and growth? Perhaps how you go about doing what you do needs to be realigned to better achieve its purposed outcome. Whatever the case may be, present your thoughts to God. Ask Him to give you the wisdom to address what may need to be tweaked in your service. Ask God to direct you to people who can help you make improvements. Adhere to His guidance, and you will soon realize that – yes - you do know what you are doing, and you are confident that it does add value to the lives of others.
