Come and Receive

Hebrews 4:16 (NLT) So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Here are two reasons I want to share with you that I believe are why the activities taking place in the world today are so overwhelming and stressful: #1 – It’s a primary tactic the adversary is using to keep us distracted and on edge – to keep us sick and worried, complaining and fearful. And #2 – The distractions continue to intensify because the mighty power of God’s Word is plain and simple, and if our attention can stay distracted from the calm and quiet force of God’s Word, we’ll remain vulnerable to the adversary’s tactics. But listen, the world enslaves us. When we look to the world, it tells us to work harder and harder and pay for its powerless answers to what will make life better for us.    But when we look to God – Halleluiah! As the storms of life wage all around us, He gently tells us to simply ‘come and receive’. God’s peace is our answer for the storms. That’s it. Are you overwhelmed and stressed out? Come...receive... Thank You, Father.
