Can God Trust Us?

Matthew 25:21 (NLT) “The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’”

When God gives us an assignment, He does so, trusting that we will do what He expects us to do so that He may receive what is His, and also that He may celebrate with us in His being able to trust us. But – can God trust us? Though we are certain to mess up time and again – God can trust us when He sees that we are intentional in our efforts to be obedient to Him – and He knows that we are sincere in following through to bring honor to His Name. The outcome of our trustworthiness manifests blessings and more blessings in our life. For the corporate church body – when we understand that we belong completely to God; when we understand that our assignments and their outcomes belong to God; when we know that the praise for our accomplishments all belong to God, and when our desire and our action is solely to be obedient to God - yes, God can trust us. Think about your commitment to our Creator. Taking these precepts to a more personal level, “Can God trust you?”
