Be Kind

Philippians 4:5 (AMP) Let your gentle spirit [your graciousness, unselfishness, mercy, tolerance, and patience] be known to all people. The Lord is near.

Deceptive suffering is so very real. We don’t really know how many layers individuals may be wearing to cover problems that are overtaking them. There are people around us who we speak to in passing but never really have a get-to-know- you- conversation with. Be kind. Take the time to get to know them. Take the time to let them sense your sincere interest and concern for them. We live in times when suicide is claiming too many vibrant lives every single day. There’s a deficit of kindness in the world. We must go deeper connecting with lives instead of bypassing them. Ultimately, it’s up to God to save those who are hurting and are at risk. But it is our responsibility to be aware and available to intercede for someone whose life is in a danger zone. We never really know what a person is going through at any given time. We all experience such times. Let’s be kind.
