Are We Afraid of Our Power?

Proverbs 29:25 (NLT) Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the LORD means safety.

Rich is the soil of the graveyard where many God appointed dreams succumbed with the deceased because he/she did not have the faith and the courage enough to ignore the haters and press forward with their assignment. Likewise is the richness of buried visions that lie dormant in the walking dead who look around and count the many obstacles that threaten the likeliness of their succeeding to fulfill the dream God has placed within them. Does our fear really stem from the distractions, or could it be that the vision burns so strong within us until we’re afraid of its power? We mustn’t lie to ourselves. God knows the truth. If it’s the power that scares us, then we’re guilty of nursing the wrong type of fear for the Lord. The power that burns strong within us is God’s Power that accompanies the certainty that what He calls us to do can and will be done. Our job is to trust and obey, and God will do the rest through us. While we still have time, we need to be about our Father’s work. There’s no point and no purpose to putting our assignment in the graveyard. There’s no interest for our Master to gained there.
