Challenge Your Beliefs

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT) Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

You don’t know that for sure; you don’t know that things will turn out the same as they did the last time you attempted to do this or that. That’s you looking at matters through your past experiences. The operative word here is ‘past’... ‘your past’. What you have in the past is a memory and a lesson, but the past does not withhold the possibilities of the present and the future. Challenge your beliefs. Check them to see if they are true according to the Word of God. Search the scriptures. What you won’t find is Jesus telling us to believe every thought that comes to our mind. Our mind is vulnerable. It will make us turn against our own self if we’re not careful. Clear out the dead thinking, and see God’s Light shining on what’s true in His Word. If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
