Faith and Fortitude: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Luke 18:7b-8 (NLT) “...So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”

Unity. All hearts and minds on one accord, focused on the goal at hand for the betterment of all who are impacted by the injustices that cause life to be unfair. Ride or die. Nothing lukewarm, nothing wavering in uncertainty. Regardless of how sweet the language sounds or how plenteous free gifts come...it’s the print at the bottom line – the foundation – where we want to make certain that our birthright liberty in humanity is secured. We know that our rights are grounded in Jesus’ victory over crucifixion, hanging, death, and burial – to exclusively rise with all power for all of eternity. Our rights, our freedom, our liberty and justice are in the Person of Jesus Christ. Therefore, in our faith and fortitude in Him we remain united and grow stronger in the steadfast truth and power of God’s Word and God’s Promises to His chosen children. Amen.
