Align Yourself

Ecclesiastes 2:1 (NLT) I said to myself, “Come on, let’s try pleasure. Let’s look for the ‘good things’ in life” But I found that this, too, was meaningless.

King Solomon was doing too much. He stayed too busy trying to get a taste of everything under the sun for himself. He sought after all the pleasures in the world only to realize that they could not provide him a life of fulfillment. How do you know when you are going about life the wrong way? You know it when you are staying too busy, too crowded, and too exhausted to enjoy the experiences you’re constantly chasing. This can be corrected by aligning yourself in obedience to God’s plan for your life. So, what’s God’s plan? Make some room for Him, and He’ll show you! You will discover that what gives you peace and contentment without making you feel like you’re spinning out of control is what He has in mind for you. Less busyness opens the gateway to living a fulfilling life. Trust God. Try God. Thank God.
