The Best Use of Time
Psalms 39:5 (CSB) In fact, you have made my days just inches long, and my life span is as nothing to you. Yes, every human being stands as only a vapor.
God has not guaranteed us any certain amount of time to live out our lives except that which He has determined. Whatever God has determined to be our life span is something that we can’t actually know, because it is His business. All the same, our comprehension of time is far different than His realm of time, anyway. Therefore, by all measures and means of this one lifetime we get to spend on this side of Heaven – it is more favorable for us to make the best use of time by treating each other with love and kindness, and by seeking, serving, sharing, loving, and glorifying God daily in our thoughts, actions and obedience to His Word. As long as we make God the priority of our everyday living, the time we have will always be well invested.
