Birth Marks
John 5:24 (CSB) “Truly I [Jesus] tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come under judgement but has passed from death to life.
When we are born again in the Spirit of Jesus Christ, we acquire ‘birth marks’ that we didn’t have before. Our birth marks identify with the changes that occur within our spirit due to our new birth. We now desire to be obedient to the commands of God. We now have a sincere Godly love for people. We also carry a quiet confidence of the Holy Spirit and God’s Word within our soul that assures us that we belong to God. Do you recognize such traits about yourself since you’ve been born again? They are your birth marks. It is an eternal blessing to be born again!
