Take Nothing For Granted

2 Peter 1:3-4 (MSG) Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received! We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass on to you—your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned back on a world corrupted by lust.

I hope that you are not a person who lacks faith and patience in what is possible in life. But just in case you are - you must let faith help you to see what can possibly be, and let patience help you to maintain discipline until the promising vision comes to fruition. Don’t be so foolish as to think that all of the wonderful opportunities you have in life are only meant to produce physical things. The greatest fruition in your life comes forth in the personal and intimate closeness you continue to develop in Christ amid everything else that will evolve. Take nothing for granted about having a flourishing relationship with your Lord and Savior. Don’t be hasty and dismiss the occurrences in your life that don’t make any logical sense to you. Such times are especially intended to reveal just how great God is at keeping His promises to you!
