When You Mess With God’s Children

John 15:23 (MSG) Hate me, hate my Father—it’s all the same.

There are some folks who make the mistake of assuming we’re dumpsters to be used, abused, and neglected. There’s something about us that they like with an envy, and in turn they throw shade on us. We’re useful to them when they have no one else who’s willing to tolerate their strife. Otherwise, they consider us a target for their inner pain. Don’t doubt that God isn’t paying attention when people don’t treat us right. Shame on them for not understanding that when they mess with us – they’re actually messing with God! God will prune away the things within them that causes their hate toward Him and toward others. Things might be a little rough for them until they have a change of heart and mind. But as sure as God is doing the pruning, their comeback will be like a rebirth! Selah!
