In the Spotlight

Habakkuk 2:4 (CSB) Look, his ego is inflated; he is without integrity. But the righteous one will live by his faith.

Keep your confidence about yourself within the virtue of humility. Walk in the character and speak in the language that resonates the refreshing Spirit of Jesus. It isn’t always easy to do, but when you think about it – it’s your choice to not make it so hard. When your confidence about yourself does not require you to be in the spotlight, it shows that you bring your best to the table for God’s glory and for the good of all.  By not thinking too highly of yourself, by sharing and celebrating in what other people do in unison with you, and by being grateful for your life and the lives of others – your confidence actually puts the spotlight on the Spirit of Jesus within you. In essence, when you’re in Christ and Christ is in you – you are the light whom God made you to be. Amen.
