2 Peter 3:8 (CSB) Dear friends, don’t look over this one fact: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.
Who really knows what will become of our lives while we are on this side of Heaven? God – and only God. But that’s not what the earthly forecasters say. Unlike God, the world pressures us with deadlines and limits that give us the impression that we may or may not become all that we hope to be. But God isn’t concerned about such things. He made us, and He promises us that His will for our lives shall come to pass! God has the vantage point for our lives, and from His view there are no deadlines of limits to the manifestation of His purpose for our existence. So, when you feel as if you are being swallowed by the messages the world speaks to you, just remember Who’s message you can depend on. Trust God with your life. He already sees you in your victories, and He’s the One Who will get you to them.
