What A Return!
Luke 6:38 (CSB) Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over—will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
I’m glad that I was raised to understand of how to serve other people with whatever I have. I didn’t always or fully understand the learning process when I was in my youth. But the wisdom came as my relationship with Jesus grew. Since that time, I’ve stayed true to my home training. Whether I have much or less, I serve with a glad heart and without expecting anything in return. More importantly, I’ve stayed true to God’s command regarding giving and serving. Based on my experiences over the years, all I can say is, “What a return!” I am a firm believer that God measures and calculates the generosity of our hearts’ intentions more so than what we tangibly give away, and He showers us with blessings that are not calculable. I double dare you to try Him!
