We Need A God-Pace
Proverbs 16:9 (CSB) A person’s heart plans his way, but the Lord determines his steps.
We love it when our plans come together and work out just as we’ve planned for them to. But we know that this isn’t always the way it goes. Sometimes our plans flop badly, but not because they aren’t good plans. Sometimes plans flop because they aren’t set to a good pace – a God-pace. A good plan becomes a great plan when it is synchronized to God’s will through prayer. Prayer seeks God’s guidance. God’s guidance provides the best timing, the best pace, and the best outcome. Keep in mind that if a turtle can win a race by having a slow and steady pace – then - a praying saint who walks a God-pace is certain to be blessed by His grace!
