Our ‘Other’ Something In Common
 
Romans 3:23-24 (CSB) For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God; they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
 
All humans are kin by sin. That’s one something that we cannot deny we have in common. And you want to know the sad thing about it? Sin is a one-size fits all action. All carry the same weight, and the same consequence – guilty as charged! But there is another kinship accessible to us that is our ‘other’ something in common. It’s called agape love, and it is acquired by having an intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We have to surrender Jesus in order to possess agape love – and when we commit Him – everyone else who is committed to Him becomes our brothers and sisters in love and forgiveness, and in hope. Our ‘other’ something in common gives us unity in the body of Christ. We are redeemed to do the work of the Kingdom of God in the earth until Jesus returns. Let’s be more kin by love.
