Each One Must Decide

John 3:3 (CSB) Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

What I am about to say - I say in love, because I don’t want us to make the wrong assumption about our Christianity and about our God. So, here it is: None of us are born into the world as Christians, and we do not inherit instant Christianity because we are born into a family of Christians. You see, it is our inherent privilege and God’s command that we each make the decision for ourselves to choose Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior. Yes – the prayers of our ancestors and the guidance and training of our parents and guardians all factor into our understanding the purpose and meaning in living a Christian life. But we ultimately must voice our choice for ourselves.  We belong to God the Father, which makes us acquire our Christianity directly from Him. If we were able to inherit Christianity from our human family line, that would be like saying God is a ‘grand’-FATHER, and He is not. God is the Father of every single one of us. Honor Him by deciding for yourself to give your life to Jesus Christ. Yes, you make your own decision - and they say so.
