Sufficient Grace
2 Corinthians 12:9 (CSB) He [Jesus] said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.”
In our human strength, we are weaklings. However, in our weakness we can have great strength in the Lord. His answers to our prayers reveal the greatness of His power and grace in our lives. The Lord is gracious in His kindness toward all of us – whether we deserve it or not. When we go through tests and trials, He gives us special grace. When we mess up and fall short of His Glory, the Lord gives us restoring grace. And when we confess and repent of our sins – He gives us His saving grace! Yes! Our Lord’s grace is sufficient for us. In and of ourselves – we are weak. Praise the Lord that we can find strength in His perfecting power!
