The Four Gospels

John 21:25 (AMP) And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they were recorded one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.

The Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John contain the good News of Jesus for us to read and absorb the detailed accounts of His Presence and His works while He was here in the earth. In these times when those who struggle with accepting the reality of our Living Savior demand a form of proof of His existence before they will believe - that proof can be found right there in the four gospels. But acceptance requires belief, and belief requires faith. Aren’t you glad that God gave us the living accounts of Jesus’ life within the gospels to undergird our faith in Him? And aren’t you glad for your own experiences with Jesus through the Holy Spirit - Who allows you to have an account of His truth and goodness in your life? The greatness of our Savior cannot be contained in any amount of books. But Glory be to God for the Good News found in the four gospels of the Bible. Amen!
