The Time Came

Luke 2:6-7 (AMP) While they [Joseph and Mary] were there [in Bethlehem], the time came for her to give birth, and she gave birth to her Son, her firstborn; and she wrapped Him in {swaddling] cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no [private] room for them in the inn.

May this devotion offer deliverance to whomever is in need of a breakthrough today. In studying today’s scripture, we know that the most important thing was about to happen. Jesus was about to be born into the world. If we look even closer and consider all that was occurring, the circumstances surrounding our Savior’s birth were by no means comfortable, convenient, or safe. Did it matter? No. All that was needed was in place. Joseph, Mary, and the Child in her womb were all God required for his plan of sending His Son into the world. When the time came, nothing else was a threat to the fulfillment of God’s plan. Understand what this scripture offers you and me. When our Father sets a plan in motion through and for our lives, He already has every detail worked out to completion. We only need to walk in the Light that He guides us with and rest in the assurance that He’s with us, and He will already be where we find ourselves when the appointed time of our assignment arrives. Stop overthinking what you can’t do anything about, and allow yourself to walk in the crazy faith you can have in God. Let go now...TRUST GOD – right now.
