Accept God’s Gifts With Gladness!

Romans 8:32 (NLT) Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?

What distinguishes a person as ‘good’ or as ‘bad’? The perspective answers to this question are numerous. The typical train of thought about each is that ‘good’ people deserve gifts, and ‘bad’ people deserve punishment. This is worldly concept. In the Kingdom of God, all people belong to Him. All people are His good creation. Likewise, all gifts come from God, and they are good. It’s amazing how God’s gifts work to help us grow closer to Him. We don’t have to discern that God loves us based on our being considered ‘good’ or ‘bad’ by the concept of the world. We can’t earn God’s love. It is a gift He freely gives us. Gifts from God come with no catches – but with love that all people need. We can accept God’s gifts with gladness, and we can be glad in the Lord for each other.
