To Know And To Do
1 John 3:19-20 (NLT) Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God. Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything.
What’s the best response to give when people don’t return the kindness and respect to you that you extend to them? I would say that your response should remain cordial because you do not walk alone. Whatever is done toward you in any given moment is also being done toward your Father. Your response will be that which He expects you to have in His Name, and He will take care of the matters beyond your control. You decide to do right – even if it ticks you off to the tenth degree! Don’t worry; you’ll eventually cool off! You do what’s right. Remember Who your Companion is. Give Him Glory by your choice. To know and to do God’s will is evidence that you die to your flesh, and you live for God. You are a champion, too.
