PJs and Peace

Genesis 28:15 (NLT) “...What’s more, I am with you, and I will protect you wherever you go. One day I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have finished giving you everything I have promised you.”

Paula and Renee were going to hang out with some friends, but Paula changed her mind. Renee questioned Paula about her decision until she learned that Paula’s bank account had been breached, and all of her checking and savings money was gone. “Oh, Lord! What are you going to do, girl? You’re gonna lose your house! How are you gonna pay your bills? I wish I could help you but I’ve got to hold on to what I’ve got!” When Renee was through with her tangent, Paula politely showed her to the door. After Renee drove away, Paula put on her pajamas, turned on a good movie, and let it watch her go to sleep. By the next morning, all that had been stolen was restored to Paula’s accounts, and the breacher had been located and arrested. Paula reflected on Renee asking her ‘what she was going to do’. Truth be told, she had already done it. She followed through on her responsibility to look into the matter, and she trusted in the Lord to prevail on her behalf. Did you notice that Paula quickly dismissed the negative influencer out of her space? You might want to use this ‘PJs and peace’ technique sometime!
