Forceless Helper
 
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NLT) So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord – who is the Spirit – makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
 
There will come times when you will need to toughen up because life just seems to whip you with a wicked wind. But there will also be times when you will need to take it easy on yourself. Maybe this is one of those times. Even your best attempts at doing what is right, handling your business, and being present in the lives of the people on your path can leave you feeling like you’re just not doing enough; you’re just not good enough. That’s not true. Love is not forceful. God is Love. As long as the efforts you make are rooted in a love that you have in your heart – you’re doing great, and God is pleased. It’s not necessary to force anything that carries genuine love. So give yourself some credit. If your Forceless Helper is at peace with you, you can be at peace with yourself.
