In My Weary Moment
Isaiah 40:31 (NLT) But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Father, I am feeling somewhat weary today. I lay down the ‘To Do’ list that is spinning around in my head, and I ask that you take it and order my steps before I start out on my way. I love You, Father. I want to give you the best that I have to offer. Yet, I am drained of the mental and physical energy I need to be an effective servant. Breathe on me, Lord God, and restore your servant. I won’t attempt to do anything in my own strength, for I am sure to fail. But I know that the best of me will prevail when I join You where You are working, and we work together. In my weary moment restore me so that I can say, “It is well with my soul.” Amen and Amen.
