We Have What It Takes
2 Timothy 1:14 (NLT) Through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within us, carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted to you.
I want to keep all of us – my brothers and sister in Christ – encouraged in our everyday life. Let me tell you that God knows it gets to be tiring when we have the truth of His Word within us, and yet we have
to deal with so much outward foolishness that tests the treasure within us. What can we do? We can remember the Holy Spirit within us, surrender our weariness to Him, and trust God to restore and sustain us. The strength we need to endure the trials of life is already ours. We carry it within us. We can know this without question. The treasure of God’s Word reigns within us. We must protect it and remain faithful to it. God knows He’s given us what we need to hold onto His Word securely. Yes, we have what it takes to overcome all kinds of foolery. That’s why God entrusted His Word to us.
