Emotional Hostage
2 Corinthians 6:14 (NLT) Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?
It is your spiritual privilege and right to freely express your emotional relationship with the Lord. Never allow anyone to make you feel ashamed or wrong for the way you respond to the Holy Spirit’s movement on your heart! You ought not stifle your spirit for anyone! No one has the right to make you an emotional hostage. Keep yourself connected to Jesus, and enjoy your freedom in Him! Leave the adversarial spirit the choice to either flee from you or to repent and come to Christ! As for you – go on and rejoice in the Lord, because - God doesn’t mind, and the devil doesn’t matter! Say that!
