God’s Point of View
Isaiah 55:8-9 (NLT) “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts.”
Brothers and sisters in Christ, let me point out for some of us and remind others of us that – God can and does take passages of scriptures that are familiar to all of us – and He uses them to teach us different lessons in His own way. We can have one particular scripture memorized by heart, but it may not mean the same thing for all of us. With that one scripture, God uses it to address specific areas of our lives as He sees fit to do. What one scripture does for my life may not be the same as what it does for your life – and that’s perfectly fine – as long as we understand that it’s God’s point of view that matters, and not ours.
