Get Gotten!
Ephesians 3:19 (NLT) May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
I was on the phone with my best friend Sally the other day, and I caught a piece of infinite wisdom during one of her humorous moments. We were talking about how much simpler life is when your home isn’t packed with so many things that fill up the living space, making every room look like a mini storefront. We agreed that everything beautiful or on sale isn’t meant to be bought. Then Sally said, “Yeah! Instead of ‘gotta have this’ and ‘gotta gave that’, people need to just ‘get gotten’ with Jesus! It’s the best way to be, the best way to live, and the best way to be fulfilled without hoarding a lot of stuff!” Leave it to Sally to spit out the truth with a bit of hilarity. Just a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down!
