Godly Arithmetic
2 Corinthians 9:8 (NLT) And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
Humanity could make such a huge economical difference in communities all over the world if we’d only practice Godly arithmetic. After all, God is the Source of our resources, and our faith in Him to provide makes it possible for everyone to be generous in sharing with each other. God’s provisions will never run out, and they always include excess to bless someone else. Generous hands and generous hearts give and receive generously in return. Jesus tells us in Matthew 22:37-38, “You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” This is key to having Kingdom generosity spread throughout the world, wouldn’t you agree?
