Purpose Doesn’t Leave
Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.
At some point in our lives, we question ourselves about the purpose behind the knowledge and skills we have but may not be directly using them for any particular thing. If we’d have a conversation with each other, we’d probably be surprised to discover the many hidden skills of people we know, but we’ve never seen them using those particular talents. Is it pointless that they have these abilities at all? Of course not! Some talents are natural gifts, and some are acquired through training. God has made us so that we can have many talents for any of His many Kingdom purposes. Whether or not we use them regularly - the purpose for our talents doesn’t leave. God has appointed your talents according to the planning and timing of His will. Whatever your skills are – own them and hone them. Trust me, if God made it so for you to have them, their purpose won’t leave. Be patient. Something special is on the way for you!
