The Waiting Room – Part 1
 
Lamentations 3:25 (NLT) The LORD is good to those who wait on him, to the soul who seeks him.
 
Come join me in the waiting room. Amazing things are happening here. It’s where you want to be, especially if you trust in God. There is a lot of commotion; some good, and some not good at all. There is a continuum of constant changes, comings, and goings; and yet – everything somehow is still the same. Many people succumb to the haste of getting more of ‘something’ to fill an insatiable void within themselves. As students in the waiting room, we learn how to put the commotion in the background, and seek our Teacher. God is steadily orchestrating character development through our life activities so we can acquire the abilities we need to be able to handle the abundant life He has planned for us. There are unlimited spheres of maturity in our Savior Jesus Christ that we must grow into. We have no reason to hurry the process. We’d be wise to not try skipping any phase of the process.
