Remedial Life

Psalm 25:5 (NLT) Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.

In the stage of life that I’m in now, I desire more ‘quality of life’ than the ‘quantity in life’ that I used to chase after. I got tired of feeling weary instead of excited about events that I used to look forward to each year. Every occasion became a repeat of the last one…and the one before that one. My relationship with God, myself, my family, and friends felt ‘stuck’ on repeat. Same highs. Same lows. But I paid attention to the signals that beckoned me to make the necessary changes that benefit my spiritual and mental vitality. This one life  that I have on this side of Heaven is too huge for me to live in a repeated predictability year after year! Have you ever given any thought to how you really feel about the way you are living and thriving? You, too, may need to make some changes for yourself. This one thing is for sure: As long as you continue to live a remedial life – nothing is going to change!
