While We Wait

Psalm 31:14-17a (NLT) But I am trusting you, O LORD, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly. Let your favor shine on your servant. In your unfailing love, rescue me. Don’t let me be disgraced, O LORD, for I call out to you for help.

There isn’t a moment in our life when we are not on God’s mind. It may seem impossible for this to be true when we consider that there are well over 7 billion people in the world. Nothing is impossible with God. His Spirit covers every nook and cranny of the universe. He doesn’t miss a thing. But there are times when we are clear and correct that we heard God’s call for us to do a certain thing. Yet, in every attempt, we’ve faced a shut door or a setback. What should we do? We should have patience and trust God’s timing. If He said it, He meant it. But we just have to accept that waiting is a part of His plans. So, let’s stay encouraged when God makes us wait on something He has called on us to do. Surely, He is everything out for our good.
