Who Needs A Drink?
John 4:14 (NIV) “…but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
We need a drink of the living water Jesus freely offers us. We need a daily drink from His endless pouring fountain. Our souls would be desolate and parched if we relied on the drinking wells of this world. Each drink from the world quenches our thirst less and less, yet it requires more and more in order for us to get another sip. The world is drying us out. Oh – but we don’t have to be thirsty at all! We can’t and we don’t have to do anything special to have some of Jesus’ precious water! He says His water is free and plentiful! It gives us new life! It satisfies our every need! It’s everlasting, and we’ll never thirst again! I hear our Savior calling out and asking us, “Who needs a drink?”
