Affirm Your Witness

Jesus doesn’t make being obedient to Him complicated. What complicates things is when we add our circumstantial implications to what He tells us to do. This is how we get in our way instead of following His way. All there is for us to actually do is to take Jesus at His Word – nothing more, nothing less. In this way, we’ll come to a point in our lives when we will be able to bear witness to the truth that obeying the commands of Jesus surpass anything that we could do otherwise. When we plant our feet firmly on the Solid Rock, we can affirm our witness to the Promises He has made to us. Are you a witness for the Lord? “If you love me, keep my commands.” John 14:15 (NIV)
