Are There Thieves In Your House?

1 Thessalonians 3:10 (NIV) For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”

To My Brother and Sisters of all ages:
There are people in this world who will use our faith in God against us in order to get what they want. They are professionals at guilt-tripping us into believing that their hard times are a result of the unfairness of the world. Of all the people who do this best, it is our relatives and close friends who ace it! But we know what the real problem is. They’re bone lazy! If we let them get a foot in the door, they set up camp, and the rest comes easy for them. While we attempt to be kindhearted and supportive - in a little while - they begin to take over and rob us under our own roof! If this scenario is very familiar to you, today’s scripture gives you the permission you may have been looking for to reset your house and your life back to peaceful order. Free yourself, and with kindness and love – evict the thieves, and give them the support they really need by suggesting that they check into a place of employment! Real talk.
