Walk In God’s Light
 
1 John 1:6 (NIV) If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.
 
In what ways have your life experiences affected your walk with God? If you’re not careful, you can set up barriers and limit yourself from having further and greater God-experiences. That’s what happens when you vow to never let an uncomfortable memory happen to you again. You create a wall to protect yourself from something that is over and in the past. Life moves forward, but you won’t move along with it by protecting yourself from the past. You have to be willing to act in faith and embrace new experiences. It takes faith in God for you to walk in the light of knowing and trusting the Him. You can’t experience God without faith, and your faith can’t grow without experiencing God. When you decide to break down those barriers you’ve been hiding behind for so long, you will begin to see the Light of God shining through to show you the path forward. Walk in God’s light.
