You Asked For Patience

Romans 8:28 (NIV) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

You did the right thing when you prayed to God and asked Him to give you patience. Your inability to be forbearing with people hinders you from being an engaging person. So, what’s the problem? Why are you complaining about these incidents that keep testing your patience? They are exactly what you asked God for. Patience has to be developed, and that is done by exercising growth. God is allowing you to experience some tribulation so you can work those weak spiritual muscles that are needed to behold patience. God will never set you up to fall. He has a way of using what you call difficult to you to bring out the best in you! When you asked God for patience, He jumped right on your request!   Now – go grow some patience!
