 Daily Confession

Proverbs 28:13 (NIV) Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

Our souls are forgiven when we confess and repent of our sins to the Lord. It only takes a split second for our thoughts and behavior to be triggered to sin. The catalyst can be an outside distraction or those things we entertain that are of our own conception. We may not consider them as harmful, but anything that isn’t good and pure is sin. We need to surrender our sin daily for the sake of its potential impact on our souls. Whether you think you need to or not, take this sound advice and discipline yourself to approach the Lord to confess and repent of your sins daily. Better still, confess and repent the moment you realize you’ve sinned. Hopefully, this habit will help you to become more intentional in doing what pleases the Lord.
