As Brothers and Sisters

1 John 4:20-21 (NLT) If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers.

The bible flourishes with principles and teachings that produce the rewarding results of living in obedience to the commands of God. Everything the Bible feeds us is centered in Love. But in order to benefit from the miracles of Love, we have to embrace all that love is. In addition to being joyful, generodus, and beautiful - love also endures pain, suffers much, and waits patiently. These are aspects of love that we as brothers and sisters in Christ need to give more of to one another. We are not each other’s project, but we are a part of one another connected together by Love in the body of Christ. Let’s love each other in the fullness of love so that we can truly be a unified body of brothers and sisters in Jesus.
