Stand Strong
1 John 4:4 (NLT) But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
A sinful spirit opposes our Heavenly Father, and it reigns throughout the land. God is the enemy’s target, and that puts us on the hit list, too. Assaults on human interactions and relationships is a tactic of the enemy that we face daily. People can sometimes behave like monsters when the enemy takes hold of them and uses them. But let me remind all of us who are in Christ that Jesus is right here in our hearts by way of the Holy Spirit. There are no monsters, no storms, no weapons, or threats that will ever defeat the power of the Holy One Who resides in us! Victory lives in you and me, so let’s stand strong!
