Keep Your Promises
Ecclesiastes 5:4 (The Living Bible) So when you talk to God and vow to him that you will do something, don’t delay in doing it, for God has no pleasure in fools. Keep your promise to him.

We don’t ever have to doubt that God won’t keep His promises to us. Hebrews 6:18 (The Living Bible) tells us, “He has given us both his promises and his oath, two things we can completely count on, for it is impossible for God to tell a lie.” Whether we are willing to admit this or not, we are not the best stewards in keeping our promises to each other, so it goes without saying that we don’t do a good job of keeping the promises we make to God. We owe it to each other to not just talk empty promises, but to let our words be our bond and follow through with what we say. Our actions reveal whether we are noble or foolish. And Heaven knows - we owe it to our Promise Keeper to follow through on our promises to Him. Only a fool would do otherwise.
