Aligned To the Light
“The way to right wrongs is to turn the light of truth upon them.” Ida B. Wells-Barnett (1862-1931)
Educator; journalist; early leader in the Civil Rights Movement; one of the founders of the NAACP.

Wrong things are said and done in the boldness of day and in darkness of night. In our hearing and seeing - directly and indirectly – wrong is in constant motion. And our complacency to call wrong out when we are a witness to it makes us just as much an accomplice to it. Having the wisdom to know when something isn’t right isn’t enough to change it. It takes an action stimulated by the spirit within us to put wrong things into the light of truth. It takes courage. Courage is an attribute of the Spirit of Light that lives you. Depend on the discernment and direction of the Holy Spirit to help you call out what’s wrong so you can stay aligned to the Light. John 3:21 (NLT) “…But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”
