It Can Be Done
“I think about the contributions that I have made to all of the minority golfers. To let them know that all things are possible if you continue to work at it and believe in it.” Lee Elder (1934-2021) Professional golfer; 1st African American to play in the Master Tournament; 4-time PGA Tour winner
Anything we can do to help make another person’s life better is a contribution we make in this world. Every contribution is great in value. There’s not one that is less than another. Our contributions in the world justify our hope in what we believe can be a lasting part of humanity. There is a solution to everything that is less than its best. All it takes to change things is the willingness to work at what we believe in, regardless of how long it takes. That’s what we are to do. That doesn’t necessarily mean that we’ll see the fruit of our labor in our lifetime, but it does prepare the garden for the fruit to be ready to harvest in someone else’s life! If what we work to contribute gets done and makes life better for someone else - that’s all that matters. All good things come from the Lord.
John 15:5 (NLT) “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me and I in them will produce much fruit. Apart from me you can do nothing…”
