Prolonged Disconnection
Isaiah 59:1-2a (NLT) Listen! The Lord’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call. It’s your sins that have cut you off from God.

It’s up to you. God is ready when you are, and He’s ready when you aren’t. God stays ready! Ready for what? He’s ready for you to be tired of the mess you have yourself in, and He’s ready for you to ask Him to clean you up. But you say you can do that for yourself. Is that right? Then why are you so miserable? You’ve worn out your welcome with people who care about you, and the hole you’ve dug yourself in keeps getting deeper. It appears that you are reaping the consequences of a prolonged disconnection with God. The only thing for you to do in order to turn things around for yourself is to call out from your sins and reach for God’s hand. It may shock you when you find out just how close He’s been standing by you – all the while – ready and waiting.
