Death By Silence

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” “In the end we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends.” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

A historical canon is filled with the names of bold and self-sacrificing men and women who spoke up and acted on the injustices they faced during their lifetime. There’s also an eternal canon filled with the names of everyday people like you and me – who spoke up and showed up – not budging in their conviction to make right what was wrong. Their work continues today through us - to right the wrongs of this present age - and make better the way for generations still to come. The Royal Banner of Jesus Christ that led the way for our predecessors is leading the way for us today. To die at the hands of our own silent complacency - is not an option. Esther 4:14 (NLT) If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for such a time as this?
